History Nights at the Gamble Mill

Celebrating 250 years of local and American history in five nights!

Local Historia and the Gamble Mill are collaborating to celebrate America’s 250th. Matt Maris, of Local Historia, will present a series of historical discussions and inspiring stories within the Speakeasy at the Gamble Mill in Bellefonte, Pa (see map). 

Each presentation will cover 50 years of American history, using examples of local history to tell the broader American story over the past 250 years. At each event, Matt will also discuss insights on historical research and preservation. Come to any or all of the events below. These events are free and open to the public and start at 7pm (but seating is limited so arrive promptly). Your favorite beverages will also be available for purchase at The Republic.
